Letters Patent — Blazon & Signification

Blazon

Argent, a chevron Vert; in chief Sable a comet Or enflamed proper to dexter and a cross Vert to sinister; in base a cogwheel Sable.

Upon the shield is placed a helmet befitting a gentleman, mantled Vert doubled Or, and thereupon the whole achievement is displayed.

Signification

  • Chevron Vert upon Argent — builders and guardians; a house steadfast upon the land.
  • Comet Or enflamed — destiny and enduring impact.
  • Cross Vert — constancy of faith through trial.
  • Cogwheel Sable — industry and craft of the present age.
